At Gulf, we feel it’s important to do more than just comply with the minimum standards set by the law. That’s why we are actively engaged in developing programs that not only reduce our negative impact on nature but also increase our positive impact on the local and global environment. We have a demonstration farm to study and promote local agriculture, environmental education programs aimed at teaching children about environmental monitoring and conservation, and a number of smaller community-based programs such as tree-planting or beach clean-up events which increase awareness and encourage participation from local stakeholders.
