Gulf BP successfully started commercial operation to EGAT and industrial
customers

Gulf BP Company Limited (GBP), a subsidiary of Gulf Energy
Development Public Company Limited, commenced the sale of electricity to the Electricity Generating
Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under the Small Power Producer (SPP) program pursuant to a 25-year power
purchase agreement and to other industrial customers.
Gulf BP Company Limited (GBP), which is a subsidiary of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited,
commenced the sale of electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under the
Small Power Producer (SPP) program and to other industrial customers on November 1, 2018.
Gulf BP power project is located in the Hi-Tech Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya province, with an installed
power generation capacity of 126.8 megawatts and an installed steam generation capacity of 10.0 tons per
hour. GBP will supply a contracted power generation capacity of 90.0 megawatts to EGAT pursuant to a
25-year power purchase agreement and will supply the remaining power and steam generation capacity to
industrial users through secured long-term contracts.
In addition, the Gulf BP power project is the eighth gas-fired SPP completed under Gulf MP Company
Limited (GMP), which will develop a total of 12 power projects with a combined installed power
generation capacity of 1,563.4 megawatts and a combined installed steam generation capacity of 225.0
tons per hour. The remaining four SPPs are currently under construction and are expected to successively
begin commercial operations as scheduled between January and July 2019.
