Energy Development Plc. (GULF), signed the Master Supply Agreement (MSA) with JinkoSolar (Haining) Co.
Ltd. (JinkoSolar), one of largest solar module manufacturers globally, represented by Mr. Kangping Chen
(3rd from left), Chief Executive Officer. Through the agreement, JinkoSolar will provide high-quality
supply of solar panels towards the development of domestic solar farm projects under the execution of
GULF Group and its subsidiaries. Mrs. Porntipa Chinvetkitvanit (far left), Deputy Chief Executive
Officer and President, GULF, together with Mr. Bright Wang (far right), Deputy General Manager (Asia
Pacific Region), JinkoSolar (Haining) Co. Ltd., were also present to witness the signing ceremony.
JinkoSolar (Haining) Co., Ltd. has committed to supplying photovoltaic (PV) modules with a total
installed capacity of 3,500 MWp across GULF Group’s and its subsidiaries’ projects, including solar
farms, solar farms with battery energy storage systems (BESS), and solar rooftops. The commencement of
commercial operations for these projects are scheduled to occur progressively from 2024 through 2030.
The signing of the MSA is in line with GULF’s strategy to procure high-quality PV modules from reputable
and globally recognized suppliers. Moreover, purchasing PV modules in large quantities also effectively
captures the benefits of economies of scale, resulting in a more efficient cost management and
streamlined operations.
JinkoSolar (Haining) Co., Ltd. is a prominent player in the global PV module industry and operates as a
subsidiary of JinkoSolar Co., Ltd., which is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. It is also
affiliated with JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The
