On 13 December 2017, Gulf JP TLC (GTLC), Gulf Group received the Good Governance Business Excellence Award 2016, at both the National and Provincial levels, from the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce.

The ceremony was held at the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Nontaburi Province. The award for Good Governance Business Excellence at the National Level was presentated by Privy Counselor, H.E. Prof. MD. Kasem Wattanacha, and was accepted by Executive Vice President of Gulf Group, Tanon Tantisunthorn and the award for Good Business Excellence at the Provincial Level was awarded to Plant Manager of GTLC, Mr. Hassadin Onpikun, who accepted on behalf of Culf JP TLC.
