GULF Provides 1bn VND to Ben Tre Province to Combat the COVID-19 Crisis

As the world tackle with an unprecedented global COVID-19 pandemic,
Gulf Vietnam Limited Liability Company, a subsidiary of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited,
represented by Mr. Prasert Thirati (3rd left), Country Manager, donated 1 billion Vietnamese Dong
(approximately $43,000 USD) to Ben Tre province through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The
funds will be used to help alleviate the difficulties facing the residents of Ben Tre Province during
the outbreak of COVID-19. The donation was accepted Mr. Doan Van Danh (4th left), Chairman of Ben Tre’s
Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and witnessed by Mr. Cao Van Trong (5th left), Chairman of Ben Tre
Provincial People Committee and Mr. Ngo Van Tan (far right), Director, Ben Tre’s Department of Health.
Gulf Group is the operator of the 69-MW GTN1 (formerly known as TTCIZ-01) and 50-MW GTN2 (formerly known
as TTCIZ-02) solar projects in Tay Ninh Province, in addition to a 30-MW solar farm project and a 310-MW
offshore wind farm project located in Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province, of which Phase 1, with an
installed power generation capacity of 30 megawatts, is scheduled to begin commercial operation by the
end of 2020. Gulf has also signed a cooperation agreement to study the potential to develop a 6000-MW
gas-fired power project and LNG terminal located in Ninh Thuan Province.
